Our classes incorporate fun and engaging STEAM activities and project-based learning. We accept charter funds! *Mini Wee Thrive (age 3.5-5) is a sweet introduction to Thrive offering an instructor-led environment with an emphasis on songs, stories, crafts, socialization, and early learning basics. Designed as a 2.5 hour drop off program. Children must be able to use the toilet independently to be enrolled in Mini Wee Thrive. *Wee Thrive (age 4.9-7) is a great continuance and/or start to their educational experience offering an instructor-led environment with small groups and plenty of time to socialize and play. Wee Thrive takes inspiration from both Waldorf and Montessori teachings and offers early elementary basics. *Self-Directed STEAM (age 5-11) is our most popular class and offers a variety of enrichment and academic activities where students lead the way in what they want to do and learn each day. Our classes offer daily STEAM *Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math* instructor-led activities. This group of independent learners is provided with an inviting environment full of inspiring supplies. We foster a love of learning and help students work on the projects and activities they are excited and passionate about. This class starts off with a short meeting where kids and adults discuss what they would like to work on and which instructor-led invitations will be offered. *The STEAM Discovery class (age 6-11) is an instructor-led activity based class. Students will be introduced to the scientific method within earth, life, and physical sciences. Students will use their engineering skills to build unique functioning mechanisms, and explore the many different ways art meets science and enhances our world. Students will learn that math can be more than just equations and how to use it in real world scenarios. *STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math - is presented in a fun, hands-on, lab, project-based environment. This instructor-led class provides opportunities for experimentation, learning, and exploring new concepts. Socialization and making new friends is encouraged while participating in hands-on, engaging STEAM activities with plenty of time for recess and play.
