Forebay Aquatic Center

The Fore­bay Aquat­ic Cen­ter oper­ates at the Ther­mal­i­to Fore­bays State Recre­ation Area in Oroville, California.

Every day is a fun day at the Fore­bay, sor­ing the whole fam­i­ly out for sum­mer fun on the water at their beau­ti­ful North­ern Cal­i­for­nia loca­tion. Whether you’re a sea­soned enthu­si­ast of water sports, or a begin­ner look­ing to learn some­thing new, they have some­thing for everyone! 

The Forebay Aquatic Center offers equipment rentals, including giant paddle boards and inflatable tubes; classes and tours, such as the Full Moon Paddle; and event space and rentals for your next gathering. 

Acces­si­bi­li­ty: The Fore­bay Aquat­ic Cen­ter has a wheel­chair-acces­si­ble fish­ing platform.

The Fore­bay Aquat­ic Cen­ter is a col­lab­o­ra­tive effort between Out­door Edu­ca­tion for All!, the Table Moun­tain Row­ing Club, Butte Sail­ing Club, Chico State Row­ing Club, and Cal­i­for­nia Depart­ment of Parks & Recre­ation and its Divi­sion of Boat­ing & Waterways.
